Hi, This is Revel.
Hello. My real name is Tyler, but i go by revel on most forums. Been living in atlanta since 1998. Came to atlanta for the Atlanta College of Art which sadly is no more since SCAD bought it up. Started drifting in late 2006 with my first nissan 240sx, a 1991 240sx coupe that was already swapped with a stock SR20DET. From there I started attending DG Trials and SouthEastDrift events. My first 240 was a complete rustbucket, but the motor was stout and handled the abuse well. After a year of constantly worrying that the rusty shell would fall apart on me i picked a nicer 1992 240sx coupe shell void of motor, tranny, and most of the interior. That shell lasted just under a year and now I am on my third 240 shell. Went with another 1992 coupe. Just made things easier since everything would transfer over without much work. I guess thats the basic intro so heres some pics:
S13 Version 1 was purchased in March of 2006. Near stock when i brought it home.
The basic engine bay shot
This is probably the best pic of my first 240. Bigger FMIC, Sportmax wheels (when i knew nothing of good offset)
This was the second shell the day I brought it home November 2007. No motor, no tranny, and no interior
This was the second shells first event. Moved up to 17×9+15s and added a Silvia front
Painted suby silver, added Origin front bumper, replica skirts and rear bumper, and some 18×10 fronts and 18×12 rears
This is my favorite pic. If you look closely Andy’s BMW is hiding in the smoke trails
This is how Version2 met its end, by way of a pole. Still dont know how i walked away from it unscathed. Lucky I guess. The driver door protruded about 2ft into the car and the Sparco seat was all of 4inches wide after the wreck. Somehow I was still sitting in it. Not comfortably tho. Oddly enough it still drove straight…hell it was still drivable! Even the wheels made it out without a scratch and the suspension was fine
This is the Version3 shell after trailering it home. It was simply a rolling shell at that point
V3 at its shakedown at a SED event in Nashville. Matt Foerst of Foerst Motorwerks and I, with the help of all the DriftMechaniks, made quick work of swapping everything from S13 Ver2 into the Ver3 shell. Took about 3months to get it to this point. I have to give a huge thanks to everyone for their help. I love you guys and cant thank you all enough for the help

Still trying to get the hang of the new shell with a full cage and door bars…..and get over hitting the pole
More to come………………………I have been told that I am not allowed to paint the car…..ever, just add more multi color-ness.
so the multi just keeps coming:
