Good Morrow Gentlemen.
Salutations ladies and gentlemen. I’m Alex and I’m new to the Driftmechaniks family. This is my lady.
I’ve been living in the colonies for 4 years and have just completed my degree in Graphic Design. One thing I’ve noticed is that it’s amazing how much cheaper it is to run/own /insure cars is out here, which his how I’ve found myself in the highly accessible motorsport culture.
In 2006, I started with this.
It’s still a lot of fun owning a police car. People slow down for the most part and that searchlight comes in handy. While I was heading downtown one day, I passed Turner Field. I heard tires screeching so I looked over the bridge and witnessed grassroots drifting for the first time. Little did I know, 2 years later, I’d be in their position. Driving the Interceptor was getting boring, so in 2008, I picked up this.
Driving this in the mountains is a blast. But I still hungered for drifting and didn’t want to damage this. January 27th 2009, I got my drift beater.
Fast foward 6 months.
5 events later and I think I’m getting the hang of it.
I really like my new family.
Cheers.
