the way i have it now, it is pretty much stripped as it can get and run stock ecu. plus i'll have the tilt/telescope wheel functional until i can locate a suitable lighter replacement. and same with either do lexan front windows or make a rollup window crank setup.. power fronts for now. fingers crossed that it all works.

The weather cooperated today so I dragged the GS to Ferd's house this morning and we came up with this..

The headlights, hoodpins and intercooler will all be based off that tubular front bar in the next few days.

Well my deadline of the end of the month has come and gone.. but it's really close to being done.

My right rear rotor still hasnt made it here yet from the shipper.. this is the 3rd one he is sending ??? So my rear wheels cant go back on until that gets here and then I can get better access to finish up under the hood by putting the car back on the ground and moving it out of my cramped one car garage/storage/workspace.

Here's some pix

Image
all my AN fittings, the new rotors I did receive, the fuel cell, AN-6 hose, AN-12 hose to fix the front turbo oil drain, The 255 inline pump and aluminum fuel filter, my Razo ltd edition magnesium brake pedal cover from a set I have had forever..cant wait to be able to use the clutch pedal cover too. Also there is my completely stripped down and retaped engine harness with all the unnecessary wires and sensors deleted. And my new right rear upper control arm.. no more 1/4" of slop on the inner bushings!!Image

got the cell centered up and mounted in the car

Now for the front end.. freakin expensive 180* fitting..but it fits perfect
Image
255 pump under the car. Line needs to be mounted yet and wires/fuse to be added
Image

2 New rear calipers..one was seized up from sitting with the brake line cut

Finished fuel system out back

Engine bay bracing and SaRD FPR

So I'm waiting on one stinkin rotor to put it back on the ground.. and I'm short one fuel line fitting to finish that up. The bracing for the radiator and intercooler needs to be fabbed and then the short intercooler piping will be a breeze.
I cant wait to drive again.

like i said, slow going, but it's coming along. I still need to reinstall the alternator, the power steering reservoir and hoses, my oil catch can, fabricate the coolant plumbing and an overflow. I also need to finish the harness and reinstall it.

The hot side charge piping is giving me a fit. Trying to get 2 2" tubes smoothly into one 3" in about a foot is not easy. And to try and make it look good is a thrill too.. I'm seriously considering going single.

gt60BB actually. or thru a buddy who is a garrett dealer possibly a ball bearing 60-1. need to sell the twins FOERST though.

i work on a mk4 with an ITS GT60bb on it. That turbo spools faster than the stock twins did... i want that!
