lol look man. i just joined this forum, i dont want to start off on the wrong foot.
usually it is pretty difficult to get media credentials. i can count the amount of events ive actually gotten in with media credentials on one hand and still have fingers to spare. i dont do this professionally, as it is just a hobby for me.
since you know matt so well, you should know damn well where i come from.
so you are complaining about people taking what you think might bad pictures (with no proof?), so you should have been allowed to take more because you take better ones?
ive had a kit lens for years. i think i know well enough how it performs. nowhere did i state i should have gotten more "track" time cause my photos are better. i simply wished media was approved before the event, and not everyone with a camera could be allowed on track. having a DSLR doesnt automatically mean you are automatically media. unless you planned and coordinated the event, i dont see why you have your panties all up in a wad. i am not coming at you in any way shape or form.
with that being said. lets see some of your shots if you were there that day with your kit lens. if theyre good, ill shut the hole under my nose. if not, please plug up yours.
