that forum is pretty much amazing with some of the turn-around projects..

there was one that was like 5-6 months ongoing for a TDI Jetta.. the car was in poor condition.. once it was done.. the thing was like brand new.

That guy... I don't even know what to say. I appreciate attention to detail.. but thats just showy overkill and not my style at all.. cars are meant to be driven! :?

That being said definitely impressive amount of time and patience put into it and know I couldn't pay that much attention to those kinds of details for a car like that so kudos to him!

he spends that much time cleaning it and making it perfect and then drives it. i wonder how bad he would flip his shit if someone accidentally dinged his car while opening their door. i bet he could make some serious bank off people competing in concours car shows. "hey man, i'll detail your shit for $20k, its gonna take about 2 months, but you want to win right?"

On the same forum is the guy (Miracle Detail) that charges like $3-10k to detail cars. He has a lot of business too.

One of the 10k cars was Veyron.. and he was like.. 'some of the intake bolts showed signs of slight oxidation... so we went ahead with claybar, repolished them, and added 4 layers of sealant.'

you should see the water beading test on the veyron.
