Anyone live in Athens

Hey guys I just moved up to athens about 3 months ago, so now I'm further away from most of the atlanta folks. So my question is do we have any Athens resident drifters? I would love to know so good spots up here!

I can't think of anyone off hand. I kinda recall the police presence being a li'l heavy up there... but I haven't been there in a while.

Police are bad around the campus but once you get a few miles away they're almost none existant. I think I need to just go for a drifve and look for an older industrial park. I guarantee if I find a place I'll never have to worry about cops. Athens is very rural outside of UGA's main campus.

haha true.... but atleast in Athens there more concerned with MIP's and drunk drivers. Not little ol me behind some industrial park

Yeah... just keep in mind - the sound of exhaust notes at redline and tires screeching travels a looong way. I used to practice up outside of Lawrenceville area headed towards Athens at a few places that were pretty isolated... the cops still came a runnin.

All it takes is one li'l old lady's phone call saying "I think someone is street racing near my house", and you'll have half the force on you like white on rice.

I'm not saying don't do this, or don't do that... I'm just saying be careful.

yeah I used to go up around the 316 area when I lived in Buford with Miata Mike. There are a couple of those places but I'm looking for something a bit closer. I know what your saying though, I don't want to go to jail just as much as the next guy. Since my turbo kit has another few weeks to go I'm still mostly playing in the rain, so i can get by without tooooo much noise.
