CodyW wrote:and chad, i might hit up the gun range friday night, but not sure yet. saturday, i think i might hang out with my dad and go to a gun show in macon with him, and sunday not sure. holler if you're free though and maybe we can meet up sometime!
What time are you thinking about going to the range Friday night? I may meet up with you and bang a few rounds if that is ok. Do they rent guns?

yea, they rent stuff there, but i have quite a few things i'll bring whenever we go (AR15, ruger 10/22, springfield xd40, and a walther p22). only thing is after talking to a few peeps we might end up trying to do it sunday instead, but still not positive (michael and some of the southside people might be able to make it up then if we put it off). the other option on going on sunday is to hit up this outdoor 150 yard range that erin found out about (that is free by the way) up past gainesville or something on 985, assuming the weather is good. if not, the 25 yarder in norcross is still farily fun, even though it's $15. i'll let you know what we figure out for sure though.

.22 pistol. shoot that bitch one handed gangsta style
also, damn you cody for getting me obsessed with guns again. i mean, i always liked shooting... but now i feel like i need to go shoot shit all the time. i'm in Huntsfail right now, went shooting with some of my friends yesterday. i found a magazine that fits the Llama, so i bought it using my gas money... and i'm determined to get a Ruger MkII or MkIII pistol, so much fun to shoot, really accurate (i pretty much destroyed all the black of my target with it), and i could shoot it all day for like $5 in ammo... but the 10/22 will probably come FOERST... depends on tax return. and economic stimulus package?....hahahaahhahahaha....fuck. i think i'm going to get my CC permit soon, so panda can be packin' at all times.

I have yet to every shoot a gun. ok wait, I take that back, I was 7. So how much does a nice hand gun cost these days? So that I can join in on the gun range fun.

depends on what you want as far as handgun prices. at a minimum, i'd say you can get something decent for around $300 (my p22 cost that much, and it's a good gun, although not the best personal protection gun). my XD40 was $400 used, and i'd say that would be a safe range to be able to find something quite decent (i think erin's S&W MP9 was around that range, and i often see used springfields, glocks, and other decent guns around that price). you can also pay waaaaay more for certain things (a few of the 1911's i really like are well over $1k), and then there's some cheap stuff for a bit less (hi-points, some taurus's, etc). you can rent one for like $5 or $10 from the range we go to in norcross if you're ever interested though, and you're more than welcome to try out anything in my arsenal.
anyone interested in going tomorrow night still? sunday at the outdoor range might still be an option, but i think tomorrow is looking free for me and i'm down to go twice (assuming the trip sunday even gets planned and the weather is good).
