thanks for the comments guys, also andy yes i know i rushed the trunk lol if you cant tell. So i am redoing it as we speak. I shouldnt need detailed pics of the trunk but if you could find some pics of your engine like maybe block etc then some pics of just the engine bay because i would love to give the engine a try.

Thanks guys

dude this is absolutely amazing. and i was happy about my flour sack in maya. lol

I'm not sure where you live, but if you were ever interested in coming to SCAD, you should seriously consider putting a portfolio together with your application with all these kinds of renders and animation on a cd, and book with color photographs of all your art, and I really believe they will offer you a full scholarship. You are so well advanced that you could possibly walk into EA games right now, and they would offer you a starting job. Really! I see kids at my school struggle hard in these 3D programs and you have a great skill for it. Of course you gotta learn to animate them, and make animals and people too, and you would be well on your way! :)

hahaha gosh guys you really have no idea how much this means to me. I have worked so hard for 2-3 yrs and i have never felt it will ever pay off, and it finally has started to pay off from your guys comments. It really does mean a lot to me i cant express in words. When i read all of these i just felt so good on the inside so i thank you guys for these commnets, but i have some good news, if i push myself tonight i can finish the exterior tonight. Also i did a render today and i am not really happy with it but, render wise, its not going to get any better because my computer sucks.

But here it is anyways its just a plain one no bg or anything because this one took a hr already on my sucky computer, so those renders you seen at the beginning i wont have anything like that for awhile because this model is a lot bigger in size than the evo so to do a render like that would take almost 2hrs on medium settings.

Thanks guys and i will continue to keep everyone updated on this project and projects to come. To keep more uptodate visit my website http://www.ridings3d.com.

Thats cool maybe it will help for me to mention that i can animate. I did modeling and animation for a hl1/hl2 mod that i was on about a yr ago. I did the modeling animation and skin making for the game (gun wise). Before that when i FOERST started i was making some pretty crappy car models for the original hot pursuit and high stakes (need for speed series) and i got 1 in game with the help of a friend so i didnt do any animation with those but i did model. I also when i was on that mod was going to learn some code so i could tweak the game engine a little bit but that stuff is hard to the 10degree so lol i stopped, but i will keep it in mind i am really wanting to stick local. I can go to etsu and my computer teacher told me they have a very good animation program and pixar picks from them so i am shooting for pixar. If not pixar def game design because i have a lot of history behind that. I dont know still fighting over the 2 lol. O also you said you see kids struggle all the time with the 3d program if it means anything it took me a full yr just to learn this program so lol. I didnt model anything big just read up on the program, watched tutorials, and messed around because thats the only way i learn trial and error lol.

Thanks for the comment
