i just saw the actual rates for the microtel and the days inn.. that are right next to the track. They aint that great and they are talking the rates are only good for a 15 room group.. bah. sorry guys. there are cheaper hotels if you want to stay out from the beach a bit, on the way in on 501 in Conway. The Sleep Inn is pretty nice, decent price and about 15 minutes at the most from the track

Well I'm sitting in my hotel now after a day of drifting and I have to say for my FOERST time out I didn't do horrible.. My 240sx broke down on the way and got a wrecker to tow it to the UTK parking lot where we left it with my friends parking pass and continued to myrtle beach. We had to wait for the wrecker for 2 hours and we had already been taking our sweet time since a rainstorm followed us from Nashville to Knoxville so we couldn't go fast in a jittery 240sx and a tin can Miata. So it took us a grand total of 14 hours to get to myrtle beach which we arrived at 3:00A.M. and had to be up by 7:30A.M. Much to my delight my friend in her 325is let me enter her car.Needless to say I had a blast and nothing stopped us from doing it.I'll post up the few pictures I got while we were there. My car was number 24 and my friends Miata was number 23 if anyone was there to see us.
If I had a dollar for every dollar I spent I'd have all my money back.
