I heard that Hoosier makes some pretty decent tires.

i really dig my RSAs but they are effing terrible in the rain. i know they are going to be even worse in the snow. dry grip on the hot ass summer pavement is pretty decent though. this set has just under 5K miles on them & they are holding up quite well. anyway, i'm driving a NA FF Mz3 & my goal is keeping it glued to the road so my 'drift tire' knowledge is slim.

here they are on the my stock 17" wheels :

i'm thinking the next set of wheels will be some bronze 18" enkei rs7s wrapped with falken azenis. suspension mods will be coming 1st though. however, the thought of these wheels on my black hatch is pretty effing tempting. . .

I loved the way those es100's gripped (while sideways), but they wear too fast... and when they get too hot, you get the pictures above. When I FOERST got the Falkens, I thought they understeered on turn in a li'l more than I like. Once the tyres broke in a li'l... they got a lot better. They've been great after that initial break-in... and they haven't chunked to tyre oblivion either.

Since I've been going through tyres soo fast, I've had to switch to running used tyres on my old 17's in the rear (usually Michelin Pilot Sports). $30/tyre mounted & balanced beats $160 for my 18's. I don't feel so bad killing a used tyre.
