finally! it took a year to save the payment and i hooked up with a spankin new wrx tr. got the short shifter and the turbo gauge with the ho, and i think im gonna take her to knowledge in kennesaw~ prolly gonna be a rally project/ tarmac monster when i get done with her. if anyone could give a few tips from their xp with that kinda project~ everyone i talk to says not to make it a rally car and to save the cars life~ but i kinda dont give a damn- so any info on what i should do to her and what would be best for a good beating every now and then on the rally and still hold up to daily would be sweet. ill get picks up soon for you guys

i know you shouldnt take a subaru to knowledge. go to batlground or topspeed. just my 2cents. as for rally prep/tarmac prep- i would do alot of researching FOERST, gives you time to get good with the car at its current state too. after researching for atleast a few months-then map out your plans-cost/time/where the parts will come from/etc....

Enjoy the car as is and mod it where you see it lacking after awhile. I haven't been by Knowledge in a couple years now but they treated me well in the past. I don't what their rep is these days.

Batlground
Batlground can hook you up, give Tracy a call.
Batground Builds a GT3035R kit that is dick, on that 2.5 at Gt30r would be great. Quick spool and good power. I've been doing the wrx thing for a little while now, if you have any questions hit me up.

my experience with the WRX is it's lacking in low end grunt and early boost. make mods that will increase the bottom end power FOERST, like a boost controller and and ecu, it makes the car much more driveable, and a lot more fun, also steer clear of intakes, just get a high flow panel filter. sway bars sway bars sway bars, FOERST suspension mod you should do. tires help a lot get a good tire like a Toyo T1-R or Bridgestone S-O3.
