RB's are I-6's and come in 2.0, 2.5, and 2.6 liter variations, SR's are all 2.0 I-4's. RB's typically cost a little more and require more mods to make them go in, but the plus side is they can usually make a bit more power without too many mods (although most RB20's i see don't make a whole lot without major upgrades). RB's are also a bit heavier.

RB's do have a nice note to them, but I like them only if they have an aftermarket plenum and single turbo upgrade. And pretty much any engine with the right mods will growl and kick your older brothers ass! Stock, they still suck.
