How Lame was Drift 9/11?

Post by guerilladrifter »

Just got back home from Orangeburg, and I had to vent. FOERST, let me start off by saying I'm not mad at SEDA or the cops, I'm just mad. 3 and a half hours into the show, the police, who had been there the entire time, made the call to shut down the event due to noise ordinance complaints. Excluding Andy, nobody else was that loud
This was my FOERST day ever on a track, and granted, I did get 3 laps in before we got cock-blocked, but I feel bad for the guys that didn't get to run at all. There were guys who drove from ATL, Jacksonville, etc that were still bolting up their tires and rims when everything got cancelled. Somebody owes somebody some gas money, is all I got to say.
So what's the answer? This is just me blowing off steam, but its also an opinion poll. What can we as a motorsport do so that this never happens to another drifter again? F^#k it! I'm building a drift track. :x

if ya'll write them an email, please make it respectful and professional.

SEDA will be sending the city of Orangeburg an official complaint very soon.

Dude, this sucks in so many ways.

I can't begin to imagine how frustrating that must've been.

Much love Chris.
