Why not a simple dual housing like this?
If that junk will fit in a miata, it'll fit in a 240.

Not really. found them while trolling about on YAJ. Never heard of the company that makes the kit, but they appear to be using oldschool FET housings.
You could probably find something similar to it on rallylights, there are a bunch of dual bulb housing on the market, one of them should work.
I've got the Hella 6213 housings in my car and they put out a lot of light. Something like the 7872 might work for you if you're hell-bent on have a dual-bulb housing.

Summit has a TON of Hella brand lights on clearance right now too...check there after consulting a tape measure to see what you want.

I think those are the east bear headlights. Definitely my fav non popup conversion but they were really hard to find back. In the day.
