I decided I needed some bottom mount pedals. There are some cheap possibilities out there, but I'm fucking broke. All I could find is a box of rods from a smoked 1UZ.

A little cutting and welding and I got this:

Hahaha, thanks. I've done some more work on them and now have a gas pedal as well. Worked on some of the mockup in the car tonight, which is terribly difficult due to how they mount. They're going to be over-swung floor-mounted top swinging pedals, if that makes any sense...
