Yeah, we're all weird and 5x120...andysapp wrote:Really I just like that they are the size I want. But I'm reading for some reason you still have to run an adapter to make them work... which defeats the purpose for me. A spacer I don't mind... an adapter ain't worth the hassle at events.

I PM'd a dude on E46F... he said the Vette wheels are lug-centric, so you have to have an adapter.
Fack.

i am glad to hear that...i know they are the size you looking for, but IMO those wheels are hideous.......that is just the opinion of a non-bmw owning deep lip wheel addicted person

Re: BMW of DETH Build.
Fair enough.

Talked to that dude some more. They definitely won't work out. Has to be a bolt-on spacer.
BOOOO.

Re: BMW of DETH Build.
My battery is beyond fucking dead.
I don't have any business spending money on this car right now... but I'm gonna order a new battery. What is another $130 on a credit card I will never get paid off.
I'll need to make some sort of bracket for it similar to this dude's setup:

Re: BMW of DETH Build.
i could help you on the bracket, pretty simple looking setup.
i just put one of those shuriken deals that enjuku sells into the 240 before i tore it apart, seems to fire the LS easily and hasn't gone dead from sitting yet. i think they're a little cheaper ~$110.

Re: BMW of DETH Build.
just make sure you use your cut-off switch and maybe pull the negative terminal as well. a battery will sit for quite sometime as long as it's not connected and being drained into deep-cycle.

After how they did you... pardon me if I say FUCK those dudes.Rhoad Racing wrote:Technically, XS Power owes you a batter
Re: BMW of DETH Build.
I have a trickle charger. It just wasn't plugged in (for a long time). The socket to plug it in fell down behind the battery cover where it couldn't be reached without taking the whole thing off.
Re: BMW of DETH Build.
that sucks.. i'm always fighting dead batteries because my cars sit for so long
