BTW... I couldn't find my drain pan so we couldn't crack it open and see how bad it really is.
I'll prolly wait to drain'r 'til she get's up to Foerst Mwerks.

Hey buddy I gave you a ring, but if you need another pumpkin please let me know, bobby has ONE E46 diff that is your ratio (346 i thinks). If I need to get it let me know, he wanted 200 I might be able to do less though and can probably get it on the bobby credit system if needed (or talk him into giving it up lol). But we must fixes it since I could be driving a black beast later on this year

go fast or die

Yeah I'm prolly gonna need that one if he has it. My ratio is (was) a 3:46. Let me know!
Re: BMW of DETH Build - Broken Tailbone pg. 44
I forgot to post up here that we got the rear-end all sorted out.
Austin sourced the pumpkin from SG, Mr. Foerst swapped the KAAZ into the new unit, and D.Jones and Pittsy came over to help get it back in the car. This was a MAJOR team effort... and I can't thank you guys enough!

I'd like to try and get something sorted out with my hydro e-brake before this weekend. I was thinking... what if we took the rear speed sensor, snipped the wire from the harness, and spliced it in with the front sensor?
Re: BMW of DETH Build - Broken Tailbone pg. 44
put a diode in-line so you prevent the separate sensors from back feeding each other.andysapp wrote:I'd like to try and get something sorted out with my hydro e-brake before this weekend. Re: BMW of DETH Build - I want some HYDRO.
Do you think that would work?
Re: BMW of DETH Build - I want some HYDRO.
if you can confirm that the part numbers are the same for the front and rear speed sensors. then yes i think it would.andysapp wrote:Do you think that would work?
even if the part number is not the same but you can see that the abs/speed sensor rings are similar and the main sensor part is similar.. i bet it would work.
