Just try to cage me in...

Post by andysapp »

My AutoPower arrived today!!! They were supposed to call me when the truck left San Diego - but they didn't... so I was pleasantly, pleasantly surprised when it arrived today! The rest of the goodies arrive tomorrow... I can't wait!

Hahaha... thanks man!!! LivingRoomDrift2005!!!
:D

Also - is it weird that I got an Epson Inkjet cartridge with my rollcage? Is there some sort of application for cyan, magenta, and yellow that I don't know about in reference to installing a cage?

It came in 7 pieces including the door bars. I tried to divide it into the sections with the different colors. It kinda looks like I'm a child in a playpen, lol.

Goo goo gaa gaa.

I can't wait to see your reaction to the difference in structural rigidity. It will be a night and day difference.

Hahaha... Hooman the masterModelBuilder built the kit by hand. I believe it was a Testors kit. He did a great job on it!

Thats rad my uncle used to build them i always thought they were rad, you freind did a good job its supa dope and so is the cage. Also are you gona keep you all your carpet and what not? My freinds shop can weld that bad boy in and weld it in all the right places if you are not going to strip the inside out, he welds them in certen point to make the body more ridged. Check them out rivergate5speed.com. I think you meet the guy once he was they guy who took the keys to somone here in chattanooga when you had to walk to the sight from hardys.

That SR-71 is way rad! Hooman rawks out with the models like a madman! :D

I'm going to keep the carpet... and just cut in where the mounting plates need to attach. I'm not going to weld it in at this point... I want to see how this season goes before I make a purpose purpose built drift car out of her.

Hahahaha... I totally forgot about that little excursion back from Hardy's. That was hilarious now that I look back on it. She never even thanked me for running all the way back there, lol. Now that I think about it - I made sure to get a DNF because I was beating her so bad. I didn't want to beat her in her car at her event. Hahahaha... women make you do crazy things, lol. :D

If I decide to get the cage welded in next season... I'll definitely give them a shout! If I end up transforming her into a purpose-built drift car, I'll probably get her seam welded as well. We'll see though... it all depends on how this season turns out.

Rad rivergate builds a good cage, they are the only place in the southeast i would let build mine, they do about 10 a year for all types of cars from prorally to scca speed touring cars.

Yeah that sucks about the DNF but o well. She let me drive that car around on some funlaps at the last event we had and i got slideways as hell and guess what i have seen that pic of me slidays many places and yet i get no mention of it was me??? But o well i dont want to start that up again so i will shut up now lol. LOL and that damn seat was so small my fat ass kinda sat on top of it instead of in it. O and if makes you feel any better i whiped her ass twice once in a $300 golf and second in a lol hell $2 vw fox.
