ok, so i got thinking last night and ended up taking the cheap way out and just getting 2 used kumhos from GT today for $20. after doing a little pondering, it occured to me that i'll most likely be buying some nice 17's soon (hopefully after tax time), and once that happens i'll probably just run my current front wheels in the back at drift days (and in that instance, something real grippy wouldn't be too ideal for me). now i just have to figure out what "nice" wheels to get (still thinking about FNO1RC's, although i really wanna wait for the black/polished combo to come out but still no word the release date on those :(. maybe i could just buy the silver ones and go at them with some paint).

yea yea, i know i drive a fwd, but...... in doing so, grip tends to be my tendancy. i currently upgraded the tires on my 15" stockies to the bf goodrich g-force sports. brand new tread design, grips amazingly. i had yokohama parada spec-2's on the 18s on the last mountain run, so i know their limitations. the 15" g-forces out handled the 'radas on the 18! needless to say i was impressed. just a lil testimonial fer ya! hope that helps in some way.

thats cool man, it ended up working out fine with the cheapos for now.
i am (hopefully) getting close to ordering some real wheels though, and am still leaning towards FNO1RC's, so i'll probably hit you up before too long. any clue if or when 5zigen is gonna release the black/polished ones though? i really wanna hold out for those if i can.

edit: nevermind, just saw on their site that they'll be out march 05. think you guys will have some 17x9/17x10's by then? they look so good!!!!
