BREAKING NEWS!!!!! THE END IS NEAR!!!!!!!!! (Ga. only)
I just saw on the news that the Dekalb county police department will soon begin monitoring traffic cameras for the purpose of catching speeders and reckless drivers(
). These cameras are currently monitored by engineers for the purpose of improving traffic. This sucks!

the ones in Japan looked very simple. two pieces of metal per side with moving part in between to adjust where the license sat. could probably motorize that function like an adjustable mirror, thus full view when chillin-then heavily tilted for fun. all at the touch of a button.
somebody make these please. i want some.
oh yeah. were the hell are these damn cams? just on 285? or are they on highways and at intersections?

actually most of us make our own. or at least we did in japland. all you have to do is go to home depot or a hardware store and buy two little plastic hinges. then bolt them to the license plate and on a spot on the bumper where they have room to slide back. we used to make the hinges very loose so at around 80km the wind would actually hold them up. hense the name "80k plates". but on the rear, nissan used to set the plates on hinges from the factory. all i had to do with my silvia was unbolt one ten milli bolt and it was fully swingable. probly pretty easy to do in america too.

Hey, maybe they can install cameras in our homes too, and write us tickets when we look at objectionable material on the computer!!!
I love how they say "we're setting up the cameras to monitor traffic patterns and try to prevent traffic jams". That's like "GA 400 will only be a toll road until the road is paid for".
Awesome.
