wooo!!!
just got home to find my new megan racing stainless manifold, O2 housing, and downpipe waiting in the living room! everything looks very nice so far, and i'll try to get some pics of it later tonight (i've gotta run to my parent's house right now) and hopefully we'll be able to install it within a few weeks as well.

well, now i'm not positive...after doing a little more research, it's possible that i've had a really bad boost leak all along, however i could be wrong. after we messed around tightening some crap the other night, things started sounding better with it but it is still making some noise. if my schedule ever calms down, i'll take some stuff apart to see how the internals of the turbo are looking/feeling before i order one or risk putting it on the new manifold and having it be screwed up after all.

yup, it seems real nice :). i'll be so glad to get the nasty brown stock manifold and the busted up downpipe (that looks as if it was beaten with a hammer to clear stuff under the hood) out of there. the performance gains should be decent as well, which is always a plus.

Dayom, yo!
Those parts are going to bling your engineBay out! Man... it's gonna look rad with all that under the hood!

So you don't think it's the turbo? That's crazy! I still think you should take it somewhere and have someone look at it. They have to diagnose it for free. I want to see your car running well soo bad! I want to hear that monster spool up and ROAAAAR!!!

me too!!!
i can probably do a little diagnostic work myself if i get motivated (i just need to pull the intake pipe off the turbo and see if the shaft has any play in it). hopefully i'll figure it out soon, i really wanna get it up to full stregnth soon and at least make the ocala event.
