hmmm, well this is still not solid, but ever since my best friend (nobody u might know him, snoopdroop) got a new car and that drove my dad to get me a new car, cause well he wants me to be in a safe, reaible car. But its always what they want, nothing what I want knowing that the insurance well be the same on a new Merceds vs a 350z, EVO, or STi. Soo that was like 2 weeks ago, now I got my car back and everything is hella cool.
I just got back from LA to my parents house and on the road I incountered a Black STi, very fuckin shweet, with HKS CarbonFiber Exhuast, nice Defi 3 guage pod, and very clean. Got to play with it, but didn't want to make it feel bad so whatever hehe, I got home and when my parents came i gave my dad the keys to my car so he can drive it around. I then told him about the STi I saw and instantly told me how much do they cost. I was like well its up with the EVO around 27-31K. I then showed him a Road&Track mag that was happen to be in the back of my 240 when I was getting stuff out of the car, very interested he flip through the pages and said wow very nice with the EVO and STi posing on the spread. But atlast, snoopdroops parents came and my dad got distracted and well that was it.
So I don't know, I really love my 240, it was a dream of mine to have one with a SR ever since about 4 years ago. But well school is getting more important for me and well I got to put some stuff aside for a bit. But this is just talk, more like ideas and just thinking out loud. Tomorrow am gonna bring up the discussion of the STi and EVO and see what he was thinking about. L8s [/rant]

Well you will undoubtedly hear two opinions on this one. Hooman's and the right one! Haha ok, j/k. I do love both cars for separate reasons. The one bonus about the STi is that you will be able to find a sweet deal on one in the next few weeks because the 2k5's are starting to arrive and the dealers need to get rid of the 04's. I know a good dealership in Tampa that gave my friend French a great deal on his wrx-- and it's only about an hour from where you are moving...
It really comes down to what you want to do though. Is there any way to keep your 240 and also get the STi or EVO? The latter two cars don't require a ton of modification if you can refrain from it...they are both powerful out of the box. That's a tough decision. I thought about a 240 before I got the STi [mostly because of affordability], but personally the STi was better for me.
I'm sure if you have questions specifically about either car, H-man and I can try to answer them:)
Wilfred's car is nice, though, gotta say! Not ultra quick though!

ohh the supercharger on the kompressors are very smooth and very low end, cause well its a supercharger hehe.
So yeah about the EVO and STi thing, I still don't know its a tough choice because at the end you get two very awesome cars no matter how deep you compare the two. I think the only tough choice is to get myself away from my 240. Cause I went to Wil's house for a pool party and like I park my car across the street and I look back and it looked sooo awesome just sitting there with its intercooler peeking out, uhhh, i don't know. We'll see, but I think I may get down to driving both cars and see which one i like. but what gets to me is the low rpm boost that the STi pumps out
