in the top two pics, it almost looks maroon rather than red. like origin red/maroon. dick!!

yeah. The factory color is Cherry Red Pearl... it was repainted shortly before I bought the car... and it seems they blended a little more red than the factory. *shrugs*

I like it... I just wish the hood ...

got some new stuff this week. Wheels/z32 brakes for the front/k-sport coilovers/s14 seats

haven't installed the brakes or the coilovers yet... but they'll be on soon :)

yeah... painting isn't the hard part... but the polishing isn't that fun.

Considering when I FOERST got the original paint off the wheels... the aluminum looked like whitish cast crap.

so i picked up 2 of these meshies from shawn (dorimon) because he gave me teh hookup on them since I was coming out there to get something else.

I know I know, they're small... but extra wheels are always nice :)

From what i understand...based on the principle of VLSD operation...Slip actually must occur before locking takes place...IE ..one output shaft sucks al lthe torque open diff style, which "spools" the fluid, which expands and physicaly forces the clutches to mesh. Then the other wheel starts ...

Im already considering a J30 diff in all seriousness...they are cheap and likely not abused.

Long term im thinking Helical. Im more concerned with Road racing than drifting which is why i want a helical, I only want to learn to drift because i want to be well rounded in all driving diciplines. So ...

just for the record... theres a big difference drifting on an open diff and something that locks. So learning to drift on the open just gives you the slight advantage of knowing how to control the car. Buy a diff and quit wasting your time making meaningless diagrams to make your point.
