European Guys

Hey, as I've said before I'm in Europe for the year studying. I have a ~3 week gap from December 19th until ~Jan 6th. I'm looking into travel arrangements now so that the bookings are cheap as this is basically the holiday season. I was wondering if any of you guys would be willing to show me around and/or put me up for a night if I can make it to your city. I'm looking into going to Amsterdam for Christmas but need plans for the 2 weeks or so afterwards. If you are willing to or have suggestions either post here, pm me, or e-mail me at Zjunquera@gmail.com. Appreciate anything in advance!

-Zach

where in europe are you?

usually there are some kinds of drift matsuri at the nurburgring. 2-day free drift events at the nurburgring. last year they were late december and early january.

I have heard that the IDS is working on it again, and will try to do the same this winter :)

or are you more looking for some boring stuff like visiting 100 years old churches with fat ugly concrete birds all around? ;)

where are you starting from – Madrid/spain ?

would be cool if you could get here on Dec. 19th (saturday) then we could paint the town red until ~21-22nd, that should be enough time to see a bit of the city, get drunk at the 'christkindlmarkt', etc…

the other weekend that would be ok is Jan.2nd – 4-5th but i've to check if i'm able to take off monday/tuesday FOERST

;)

you can also try to get a flight to bratislava – its not far from vienna but its a bit cheaper (not always but sometimes)

there is a bus line from Bratislava to Vienna - I did this 2-3 times already and it worked perfect

Haha wow, this took a terrible turn for the worst. Yeah I'll be leaving out of Madrid probably, and I can probably get there the 19th or 20th. I'll start looking for a cheap flight that way for that weekend. And as far as seeing things goes I'd be up for anything from partying the whole time to seeing churches. I'd love to see some racing/drifting also if at all possible. I'll let you know when I find transport.
