You can hear the diff clocking and even if its german you can hear the disappointment of HJ "haaaa neeeeee" cuz we startet battle train at this point... I think there would be some rad video stuff...

This is how it looks like now... Now i reall not sure what i should do.... Sold the green e36 for 2000€ and thats the budget for a new rear end setup... Should i swap to M5 E39? Will it hold the torque? Supra TRD Diff? Or is there anything in the states? I heard from "cheap" Nascar Quick Change Differentials? Any Hint for me?

I'm not sure if an M5 diff would hold it or not.

R200 from an s chassis would work and be pretty cheap, I assume the supra diff is pretty stout as well. Really nothing cheap about a quick change other than gear sets. NASCAR ones are solid axle versions so they wouldn't be a lot of use in normal form. You can change the output housings for independent rear but by the time you've done that you're probably in just as deep as buying a fresh new one.

Erin, had to slaughter a R33 Skyline last week so now i got a GTS-T Diff+Shafts+Cardan for free. A friend has a 1500mls old Cusco LSD for cheap so i think yes R200 is a good choice :-)

Hybrids ftw, best of all worlds haha

2012 will be epic, for those who dont know i start my own business with a friend together. Motorsport Shop with part sales and engine swaps. I also get a 4wd dyno without paying for it and the new shop is in an old army air base so there is a 85yards wide 2 mile long runway to play :rotate:

Started to swap the diff yesterday. Finished the rear mount today, will turn some spacers for the front tomorrow and finish the support... Dunno if i should mount it solid or with bushings... I think i try solid...

Its the R33 GTST Diff with 4.1 ratio. I think i can finish and mount it into the car by the end of next week so i can messure and order the axles and drifeshaft next week.

urethane bushings, solid will only cause some to break.

Mh yes i still have the oem front bushings but for the rear mount its a little bit more difficult. Will see what i find. Unfortunately there is not much room. I just know that they drove solid mounts in older race series like DTM, STW, WTCC and so on in the E30 and E36's

solid mounts are good for road racing, but in drifting there's so much drive line shock and some of that force needs to be dispersed

So i used the original Bushings at the front mounts, will make a new rear mount with some bushings if everyhing fits to the car.

this week i give it to the powder coater. Maybe installing next weekend and messuring the shaft and axles. Hope i can use the stock r33 ones cause a buddy in australia is making some with GTR shafts for 330AUD and he said those are bullet proof...
