dM 1st annual 1 hour kart enduro race! Definitely June 5th!

Man, did I hit the jackpot! Not only did I find the best deal in kart rentals, It will make the coolest trip! I found an indoor kart track in Helen, Ga. We can rent the track, seven karts, and full support for one hour; FOR $300! With fourteen drivers(seven two driver teams), this comes to about $20 a person. If you think you have the stamina, you can run one full hour by yourself for about $40. The coolest part is that we can do a mountain drive there and back, and turn this into an afternoon get together. So, who's game?

Okay, looks like we have some interest! I am thinking of doing it about a month from now. I will have to put down a $150 deposit when we make the reservation, so let me know when is good for everyone. I don't have work to contend with so I'm pretty open. Which works better for everyone? Saturday or Sunday? If we do it on a Saturday, we can do it at night , and have some good late night touge runs on the way back! Let me know.

Saturday night sounds great to me! That tends to work well with everyone's work schedule. I think I might be more excited about the ride there and back, than the go karts! That track doesn't look as cool as andretti's [just from that small pic on the site], but there are lots of hairpins which is nice. And the kartz have to be better than ASL. And shit probably doesn't disappear there like it does at andretti!
We could probably coordinate funds beforehand so you wouldn't have to put down the deposit yourself. I'd hate for you to have to do that out of pocket!

I vote for either Saturday the 22nd, or the 1st Saturday after Memorial Day (June 5th). I'm going to be all tied up this weekend, and then the weekend of the 29th we're going to Miami for DriftShowoff.
What do you guys think?

I vote for June. That will give us some more planning time, plus figure out 14 people to make the 7 teams!
Damn too bad we can't get some jet skis...that would be awesome for lake helen! jet ski enduro drifting!
