Whats up, name is Brad and I'm from Huntsfail, AL. Been into drifting since '02 and have had a few cars over the years. Right now I'm in mid-build right now with an S13 and CA18DET combo. I'm setting it up for drift and time attack. Once I get back into town and I can really work on it, a thread will be up. Hopefully I'll have a chance to meet a few of you at events and whatnot.

Why hate on the ca?
I'm sorry, but aluminum is for coke cans and V8's. I'll take my cast iron any day.
But in all seriousness, what does it matter what motor I have? As long as I can make the car slide, I dont care if it has a 2 stroke or a v10.
And I guess the whole CA vs. SR question has not been addressed here, so let's have a quick history lesson. The SR came into production not because of technological advances in the automotive industry, but because it was cheaper to produce. So I find it ironic to pay more for a cheaper produced motor. That is simply my personal opinion though. If you want an SR, go for it. KA-T? Go for it. Hamster on speed? PETA may hate you, but go for it.
We are all here for one thing, does it honestly matter how you go about it?
Peace.

Oh, and that car is GHEY, lol.
Whoever designed those kits needs to be shot. Repeatedly.

So anyway, thanks for the warm welcome
If anyone wants to really administer an e-beating, head on over to hsvracing.com and just mention the word "drift". Much flaming will follow from rednecks who believe skill is keeping the car in a straight line.

That was awesome.
I will have pics when I get back to abalambala. I'm in Idaho for work until the 28th. I will be starting a build thread so you guys can see the progress and comment and/or make fun of it.
