Well you shouldnt be speeding through neighborhoods anyway, and thats probly where 95% of said "volunteer speed checkers" will be doing their speed checking because i just cant believe someone would be so bored they would drive out to busy roads/country roads etc to check peoples speed.

I work in Humboldt Park here in Chicago and it's the WORST! I'll never understand why someone needs to push their minivan or Thunderbird as hard as it will fucking go between stop signs. They drive like cabbies. Even worse is there's a god damn school 100 yards from here.

I swear it's a like a PSA from the 80's come true. There will be kids playing on the sidewalk with a soccer ball and not paying attention to their surroundings and then a Ford pickup will whiz by at redline. I'm not exaggerating. I've seen it.

It sounds to me like this type of program would help validate a need for speedbumps in a particular area. As much as I hate to have to slow down and go over them, I realize that they are necessary in neighborhoods where people are too ignorant to regard the lives of others.

Mine just trapped me at 60mph entry speed, so I feel pretty good about myself. She said my angle decent, but my smoke was weaksauce.
