Looking for a cheap slideable car. = ]

Hey guys,
This past spring/summer I received a speeding ticket in my friends E36 M3 for going 93/55. My parents took my license and I got to court (It got 2 continuances) on Sep. 25th. I am looking for a cheap RWD car, I don't know exactly how much my lawyer is going to want. However I do have an extra $1000-1500 to spend for a car now. I know that is not a lot of money to buy a car with, but I figured I'd come to the guys who know cars the best!
If you know of any cheap cars for sale: E30, 240, miata, corolla, etc etc..even a Q45 if you can find one...it would be greatly appreciated. I live in NC, but driving to georgia or anywhere relatively close is not a problem.

Our school has a caged, gutted pinto with a welded diff.

School project car...but if it's RWD I guess I can slide it, lol.
