Drift Fury Presents Summer Slide at Atlanta Motor Speedway.
Saturday August 11th
Spectator admission $10 all day

-pre-reg: $125
-gate reg: $200
This event will include a tandem competition and NOPI Drift licensing, however all drivers are welcome. Our course layout and schedule will cater to both beginner and advanced drivers. We will have single run/open practice from 9:00 until 4:30. We expect that everyone will get 20-30 practice runs before we get into qualifying. This is a large amount of seat-time for everyone even if you don't expect to qualify for the competition (you still get to tun in qualifying since qualifying is run in the same manner as practice).

Tandem Competition Payouts:
-1st place: $500
-2nd place: $300
-3rd place: $100

If you win 1st-3rd on Maxxis tires and are running the required stickers (which will be supplied by Drift Fury at the given event), then you win ADDITIONAL money from Maxxis Tires and that is as follows:
-1st place: $600
-2nd place: $300
-3rd place: $100

I am working on putting together a motorcycle stunt show. I should know by the end of the week. If it comes together it will of course be the ATL Freestyle team

Is the lot and track size going to be the same as dg's last year or is everything car show, bike show, festivas all going to be together?

any chance of pushing the top eight back later than 4:30?

I could be wrong (and correct me if i am Tracy) but I think that the July 8th is just a drift demo that's the impression i got from the nopi site at least, because that's fairly close to us we were thinking about maybe coming down for it, there's a few car clubs from up here going down for it... but alas we are broke!

Knoxville is a demo

. We will be participating in the demo.

We will give you a check during payouts at the end of the event (for accounting purposes) at the AMS event if you are owed a refund check from DF4 as I mentioned in a few threads already.

This event will be in the champions lot which has been made larger since DG. We also have been assigned additional areas for the event.

I thought I said I would send you the check if you wanted me to do that and you said you would just get it at the next event.
