Not quite the start we had hoped for.
Well, sometimes shit just doesn't go right. Mark and I we're doing a trackday yesterday at Jennings and things were going pretty well for the FOERST two sessions. We did the the FOERST session of lead and follow with some track instructors to get aquainted with the track. Mark had been here before but it had been awhile so we both went. After that I went out for the second session and everything was great. The track was nice and the weather was perfect. I was starting to get comfortable with the bike and started clicking off faster times. Truly the most fun I have ever had. Sadly about half way through the 3rd session Mark was out on the back section of the track and on the exit of turn 8 he had a brutal highside. I was pretty scared for a while because they had him laying on the side of the track for about 30-40 minutes. After a trip to the hospital which lasted about 5 hours he was released to go home. He has a broken wrist and broken bones in his hand. A pretty nasty wack on the head and pulled groin and thigh muscles so he isn't walking anywhere soon. Please keep Mark in your thoughts and wish him a speedy recovery.

Thanks from Mark for all the comments guys. He is doing better. He is up and walking around a bit trying to heal the muscles. Unfortunately he also tore a tendant in his left hand in addition to the broken bones and wrist in his right hand. What sucks is that he has two casts! One on each hand so he pretty much can't do anything. His left hand should be out of the cast in three weeks and the right should be out in about 6-8 weeks. The other good news is that he doesn't appear to need any surgery to heal the wrist so he should be healed up pretty quickly.
