So I finally got the sr to fire up but it is not running quite right. The engine is running extreamly rich. I mean black smoke and all. I want to just get it going so I can at least drive it some place to get it tuned. I was wondering if this a usual problem with the sr or is ther something I can try. I did some searching but no real help.

A guy up in New yourk wired it.

It runs rich at idle and when on the gas.

sounds like the maf is wired worng or you have the wrong settings on you afc
