alternator died. car don't work. I hope it doesn't rain.


AAA is awesome, except the snappy dispatcher i talked to on the phone, she was rude. Carmen's friend who she hadn't seen in like 2 years, but happened to stop at the intersection and help me jump my car is awesome. Carmen and Riley (puppy) are awesome for not flipping out on me when I was flipping out about everything. many thanks to Clint (frosty_spl) for driving carmen and puppy home for me and coming to my aid even though it was pretty out of the way and he had just gotten home from pretty much being at the same place i was stuck.

I was halfway in a lane at in intersection but halfway in the yellow (note that this was also on a hill) when the car died. the police came up behind me and was like, you need to move you car . no shit. so i'm trying to get it jumped from someone and the police won't because of liability, and then she is all like i'm going to call a truck soon, so you better go ahead and call you AAA if you're going to because whoever gets here FOERST is going to get it. i managed to get it jumped by carmen's friend, and had to use my mad heel toe action to keep the engine around 3k at all times while trying to obey traffic laws with police behind me and be on the cell phone trying to talk to AAA. i got it at a gas station and AAA got their fairly quickly, and clint (frostyspl) came and took carmen and the doggy home in his car.


oh and autozone has to special order my alternator...but at least its free. +1 for lifetime warranty on stupid parts that like crap out a lot.

damn, hell of a story. glad ur ok and nothing hit u since u were partially in the lane. u should have told the cop to push ur car further in so u wont be partialy on the lane. and then kick the cop in the face. hahaha. wish i had AAA, last time i broke down (my timing belt on the volvo crapped out) was close to my friends so i got it towed with an excursion to his house, otherwise i would have been mad for towing.
