Notes:
If you thought you had fun at Turner, just wait.
If you thought 3rd gear was fun, just wait.
If you thought big courses were cool, just wait.
If you thought you'd experienced drifting on the East Coast before, just wait.
AMS will re-define the way that you look at your drifting. With over 661,200 square feet of asphalt, to say there will be enough room for a high-speed course is an understatement at best. The DGTrials' designed Turner SFS lyout is dick. The DGTrials' designed AMS layout will blow your mind.
AMS will also be one of the FOERST events where DGTrials new practice/competition structure is tested out. No real prizes for this one, but there will be some fun giveaways at the end of the day for the "top" drivers.
As usual, we will try to run our tandem class for instructors and other advanced drivers. The regular A-list includes names like Schulz, Martin, Sapp, Jacobs, and Pratapuenyong (did I spell that right?)
We've also changed the way that we do event registration here at DGTrials, as we are trying to make the process both more streamlined for you, and more informative for us. So please surf over to our
forms and fill out an entry form. This also serves as your tandem petition. Make sure you fill it out even if you aren't coming to AMS -- we will be using this form for all of our events.
More information will be posted sooner or later, but get your butts in gear and register! Don't be slacky slackertons!

From the DG MAXXIS rulebook.
1. Registration
All entrants who intend to participate in the championship must be registered and must be a current competition license holder. Registrations must be received for the championship no later than seven (7) days prior to the event in which an entrant intends to begin their participation in the championship. The registration fee for participation in the championship for 2006 is $20US. Registration in the championship does not imply or in any way guarantee acceptance into all rounds.
By signing up am I intending on participating in the championship? What license do they speak of? And whats up with this $20 fee?

Imma give Eugene a call to talk to him about this and see if I can't make it out for half a day, I have the SAT that morning.
-Zach
Edit: I seem to have lost Eugene's number somehow, anyone affiliated with DG and the event mind either giving me a call or sending me Eugene's number in some way.
-Thanks, Zach
