There is a webdesign conference / competition in chattanooga on nov 19-20 or maybe 18-19. Its friday and saturday. Joshua Davis will be a speaker there, along with guys I haven't heard of before. Plus we can watch the 24 hour design competition. Teams have 24hrs to design a site. winners go on to the world finals, where they can win a 100k contract to do the audi site.
It would be fun to go listen to the speakers, and hang out wit other design folks, and possibly win CS2 suite or a new Ipod.
Its only like 37 bucks, and the hotel room is 89 per night. I would be nice to have people to split the bill with. *cough* and have gay man-sex with *cough*

Anything JD touches seems to be amazing. I remember seeing praystation a couple years ago and just sitting there like an idiot staring in awe at the screen. I'm pretty sure he designed the new stardust.tv site. Can't get enough of that guy. But.... I had to abandon flash long ago for after effects and don't know shit about web design anymore so I guess I'll just have to admire from a distance. Have fun though.
