Slide To Side Homicide Tour: Irwindale.

Post by andysapp »

Well... after an overshoot on my departure - I'm headed west (again). Seems like just yesterday I was trekking across this very path to Sonoma for Round 4. Oh wait... it almost was just yesterday, lol.

My photo gunning Ferrari Vegas accomplice: joeyredmond.com got really dick this past weekend, and was unable to run this cannonball with me again - so I'm truckin' it solo.

I'll try and keep ya'll updated with the madness that ensues as I attempt to give this nations highways and tollways another big black eye.

I'll be gear jammin' and foot slammin' all the way past Texarkana to the City of Angels and back. I'm 10-10 on the side.

Jus stopped here in Lousiana to get some go-go juice and put some grocers down mah neck at this choke and puke here on I20W.

I dun drove right thru a leaf storm (imagine a snow storm... But with leaves) as I barrelled thru this here forest outside of Jackson, Mississippi. When I got out of the leaf storm I hit a dust storm, and was a thinkin... I've never been in a tornado - but this sure feels like it. I looked to my right... And about a mile yonder from the interstate was a HUGE tornado. It was crazy.

Other than that... I'm a steady pushin the pedal to the floor and watchin mah back door. There have been kojaks with the kodaks all o'er the road.

I'll hit ya'll with an update here in a li'l bit.
I'm 10-10 on the side.

Just put that hammer down and give it hell. Bring me back some Coors from Texarcana some pics of seat covers son. Look out for them smokies and outrun them tornados. I'm out, over.

And don't you mean 10-10 on the slide.

Well we rolled down interstate twenty
Like a rocket sled on rails
We tore up all a our swindle sheets
An' left 'em settin' on the scales
By the time we hit that Texarkana
Them bears was a gittin' smart
They'd brought up some reinforcements
From the Texas National Guard
There 'as armored cars, and tanks, and Jeeps
An' rigs of every size
Yeah them chicken coops 'as full a bears
An' choppers filled the skies
Well we shot the line, an' we went for broke
With a thousand screamin' trucks
And eleven long-haired friends of Jesus
In a chartreusse microbus
What I am, what I want, I'm only after death

Practice today was pretty rad!!! This track is WICKED fast. I'm way way underpowered... But I'm having a farking blast with it, so overall a great day. Someone told me I shot flames out the sidepipe... ? Cool I guess, as long as I'm not breaking things.

Tomorrow is qualifying. The field is VERY tough. And by very tough... I mean everyone is REEEEALLY effin good. Its inspiring to see these madmen attack this course, and to be out there driving with them. I'm going out tomorrow to drive my best and have fun... What happens happens.

My friend Gary flipped his s13 coupe on its side today. I didn't get to talk to him since... But it was pretty bad. Derrick tapped the wall a coupla times in the firebird... And other than that it was a smoothe day!

Ill keep you guys updated tomorrow with the low down on the high side.

Redlining third gear... I'm clear.
