Headache

As most of probably heard the RX7 has been totally lost on friday. Another driver pulled out of a side street and i t-boned her car. This damage untop of the previous wreck destroyed the car, everything from firewall forward is lost. I am very lucky to have had the roll cage installed., perfroming its job flawless. Without the added safety i would have lost both legs if not my life. Its amazing how your mind works under psi, even w/ 2inch gash on my head do to the steering wheel nailing me in the face, i was able to think sorta clearing enough to seek help for the other driver.
I remember being strapped to the back board on the ride to hospital thinking well looks like i will be building my other rx7. At what point do you say this stuff isn't worth lossing your life. If i could come this close to seeing the end by someone else, then should i really try my luck agian? So for those that never really cared for my straight forward mouth you want have to watch me drift my car no more. At this point in time i think im down with all of it. I will probably still be at most events helping Scott out. Remember be safe it can happen at any time, to anyone.

I still can't beleive it man. Like I said earlier... I was glad to hear your voice on the other end of the phone. I'm soo glad you had the cage. I'm glad the car was set up the way it was to keep you as safe as you could have been.

It's amazing to me how we push the envelope and ride the limit with our cars... then just driving along... bam - it could all end in a heartbeat.

I'm glad you're still with us, kiddo.
Can't wait to see you out and about... whether you're driving or not.
:D

my thoughts exactly.

We'll miss you and your car. We all pray that you recover quickly and if you need anything just let us know. I'll/we'll do anything we can to help.

I can only imagine how you are feeling right now especially towards this sport. But you are a damn good driver and I, personally, don't want to see you throw in the towel that easily. You've been kicked off the horse, sorta speak.....try to get back on bro.

Holy crap! Glad to hear that you are okay.

I wouldn't throw in the towel that easily, though. It can happen to anyone at anytime, and the outcome may not have been as good if you hadn't have had the safety equipment installed for drifting.
