Man. This car has come such a long way and is one of my favorites FOR SURE. It rules so hard and legit makes me smile every time I see it.

Also... this thread made my day!!

This car is named after the amp Lemmy from Motörhead used.

I bought it from some kid in Columbus, GA.

It was in decent shape. The car already had coil overs, a SR, and a few other things. The kid said he was selling it because it stumbled at random times. I suspected the ISR maf and possible boost leaks. I drove it home, ordered some parts, and signed up for the next RS Enthalpy tuning day.

Martin is a great tuner and has probably tuned thousands of SRs so the process went smoothly and the car made good power. He actually turned the rev limit down for me and made sure the timing was pretty conservative. He then told me the car had rod knock and that I should put new bearings in the motor.

Oh shit. Did you wind up doing bearings? Or is she still a-knockin??

And do I remember correctly that you have MURDER ONE on the valve cover like Lemmy had on his rig?

Yes. I made a stencil and have it on my valve cover. I want to redo my valve cover and redo the lettering.

Motor was replaced by Sammy after a quick trip to TN to buy a replacement. Back then SRs we’re still fairly cheap.

If it's a new motor you should do MURDER TWO!
