Well, we got to see Cody's new SR20 swapped 240 tonight...and it RULES! It's black and gorgeous and has the five lug conversion! Congrats Cody! We all know how bad you've wanted one! Now it's time to change that signature photo!

[and post some pix!]

thanks everyone!
i'm still really excited about it and have had so much fun with it since yesterday. even got to start some little maintenance work on it today, but it went well (my exhaust hangs really low and a gasket broke off when i hit a speed bump with it yesterday, but after 20 minutes and $10 in parts i've got it under control).

and yea, i definately need a new sig now. i'm temtped to take some pics of it tonight however i do have a ton of stuff i need to do before the trip but i'll see if i can make some time :).

that's awesome cody! are you ditching the toyo or are you keeping both cars? (one obviously being a little more track oriented)

the celica actually sold on tuesday and i picked up the S14 yesterday. i've been wanting to sell the celi for a while and the timing worked out perfectly with it going and this 240 being up for grabs.

oh, and here are some pics i took tonight. a new sig is still in the works, but i'll probably just use one of these pics for now and then make it look all pretty later :).

i'm sorta planning on trying to do it next month since i already have the money, and i'm also gonna be out of town for almost 2 weeks which would be a nice time to leave it with a body shop.

the torque on the redtop is plenty for me (it put down 274hp and 270 tq which is over double of my old car, so it feels great for now).

oh, and hopefully it'll look like this by the end of this week:

Not to be knocking, I'm just dredging back from memory...
do you have those CZ32 wheels on backwards?
I had thought their design was for a flat leading edge and a tapered trailing edge to create a vacuum underneath the wheels and vehicle, spoiling the vortecies that normally form off wheels, and also moving more air across the brakes.

Or mebby I'm on crack and thinking of the sup-dog.
*sings* my corolla breaks down more than your corolla!

I did the same thing to my rims aswell, gunmetal looks hella nice on black 240s like ours =D.

Oh dude, looking at ur engine pic, get a fan shroud, it will bring the temps down a lot, congrats again!
