New Drift Location Possibility.

I am verifying the address. It's at an airport but there are like 3 in the area. I may have the wrong picture posted. If so I'll correct it soon.

The plan is to shut down the airport for the day. Combination of Carshow, SCCA and a Drift event simultaneously. This is in Georgia.

This will be a once a year city sponsored event for a charity of some sorts. Details are still in the works but so far it looks pretty good.

More details will be released as they are confirmed.

The airport and city had a meeting today and so far it's a go. A few more hurdles to cross for final approval. Almost all of the tarmac is available for use. I think the runways might not be due to emergency FAA landing site status and health flight refueling. But we can use the taxiways too. There is so much room at this place it's going to be incredible.

I'm going to be forming a committee for this event real soon. I don't want to miss any details as this event will get a lot of local TV coverage and I want it to be well planned. I have talked to a few of ya'll this past weekend and if your serious about helping let me know. A lot of the groundwork has already been done for the event itself but the actual drift portion needs to be flawless for return engagements. We will have total control over how this event happens. Course, Rules, Tech, cost etc.

Final approval will come by the end of next week.

Wounded Warriors and the American Cancer Society.

I've never driven on an airport. I would like to do so.
