Our club in Clemson is working with NASA SE to get a drift schedual up and running next semester. We currently are putting together a list of lots to use, however they're all basically in the Greenville area. If anyone knows of any potential lots, hopfully outside this area, please let me know. We're really looking for their contact information, IE phone numbers, so that we can hammer out details. Thanks guys,

Rob

The guys over at http://www.SoutheastDrift.com are trying to do a similar thing. The only two lots that come to mind off hand are Turner Feild and Gwinnett Co. Fairgrounds. I'm not sure about their contact info though... the guys at SEDA might, though!

Yeah, I have a similar post on SEDA's site at the moment. Jay's card made it's way into my possesion this weekend, so I went and checked them out. So far it seems like a good group of guys. I hope we can get some events up and running together.

The problem with Turner field is cost and availablity. SCCA is probably going to lose it as a lot, and even if they don't, it's wicked expensive. The fair grounds may be a possibility, we'll have to look into it. I was hoping to find some abandoned lots in fair shape that could be had for cheap, but those don't exactly grow on trees.

i made a post on SEDA about A.M.S. and Six Flags Over GA. Chad is in the works on the Six Flags lot, which is huge by the way....if we could get that lot it would be amazing, maybe we could even set up a Gymkhana event as well as a drift course, it would be a ton of fun. Chad is also trying to get in touch with the ppl at atlanta motor speedway. we may get the champions or earnhardt lot there( the places that they did the drift showoffs at NOPI nationals)

Gymkhana would be rad! I never understood how they could do that - until I got the limited slip... now I'm ready to tackle it!
