i remember people talking about how the acr model cost more and you didn't even get a radio. they always kicked butt at autocrosses.
wasn't there a 2 door model with a different name? like a jazz or something?

Dodge got the neon, Plymouth got the breeze.

Same car, though.

Breeze was a different car/chassis. Both Plymouth and Dodge Called it the Neon. Maybe you were thinking Espresso... a trim level.

I like the sedans too. Both mine were sedans. I think the body lines with the doors feels better on them.

Eugene, I actually hadn't thought about a Neon as a daily.
TEMPTING. I still have parts lying around hahaha.

FOERST time going to PC was in a neon. My brother's girlfriend at the time owned one. I drove it most of the time there. She wrecked it shortly after.

Seriously good cars.. drove it hard and it still returned like 28 mpg.

Foook! The 2G Neons go for like $2k on CL..

Here's some 1G's..

http://atlanta.craigslist.org/sat/cto/3178481057.html $2200 R/T 5spd

http://atlanta.craigslist.org/wat/cto/3154089908.html $1400 SOHC 4dr.

http://atlanta.craigslist.org/eat/cto/3152285935.html $1300 DOHC 5spd in Duluth. Caught driving w/o ins so I bet someone could get this for $900.

http://atlanta.craigslist.org/wat/cto/3122095634.html $2450 (kinda overpriced) black on dark sport interior 5 spd coupe.

http://atlanta.craigslist.org/wat/cto/3126727375.html $1500 Red 5pd. It looks like a DOHC by the shadows on the hood are deceiving.

This one is my favorite if it's a 5spd.
http://atlanta.craigslist.org/atl/cto/3141522731.html DOHC Sport like my old one.. except it's missing the OEM sunroof. Haha.

Agreed.

My family had a '94, and it was the FOERST car I drove any distance at the tender age of 10.

I've seen a bunch for sale up here, and I get to thinking about having one too.
