Epik - invite me up to a party and I'll bring some friends. The goal for getting the car in full kit is the 19th, since it's the day of my Full Auto event at Tropicana. Any time after that should be solid.

Here are some other pics of work that's been done. The only elements left for the rollcage are the door bars, but I'm also doing a host of other extra shit as well.

Here's some other [old] progress:

I don't want to give away some of the trick shit I'm planning on doing until it's done, but rest assured this thing will blow your mind an probably your load as well.

Just realized that DM is far behind what's happening in my dimension of reality where things move at actual pace rather than internet delayed rate.

This thing is awesome! I also want more pictures and you should know the old pictures of this thing mobbed out and dumped made me want to build one of these things. I had basically the same plan as it seems you currently have to dump it down, cage, steel wheels, and all blacked out. So I like where your heads at and can't wait to see more!

Just got back from vacation, so I'm broke for now. I'm instructed that I must attend something in Nashville at the end of next month, so I'm going to get to work until 3rd gear rolling burnouts occur.

So I've been thinking, and I've realized that subconsciously I've been building this:
Image
What I have here is a Lexus T800 (Cyberdyne Systems Model 101). What I wouldn't give as a kid watching those movies to be able to behold such an efficient invincible machine. This car is essentially my Terminator. It's got a nearly indestructible endoskeleton, a power plant that is capable of surviving a nuclear holocaust, very abbreviated features, a rough demeanor to say the least, and once it's completed there is very low likelihood if it being cosmetically repaired.

Feel free to call me an idiot or stupid or whatever. I don't expect other people to understand, but for me the correlation is extremely important. It's been the deciding factor on a number of things ranging from how to paint the cage and material for the seat cover to the modifications to the engine and suspension. My way of building cars is different from most people - I envision what emotion I want the car to conjure when driving and looking at it and then build it around that rather than collect parts and figure it out as I go.

...Anyway, I've been making some progress on the project but haven't been taking many pictures, so here's an old one just to keep you entertained:

That's a dirty rotten trick, I want some legit photos. I actually love what you are doing with this car and totally get psyched every time I see an update to this thread.
