Andy if you want I can tell you the drive cycle procedures to get them to pass.
On a cold engine, let the car idle for 3 minutes
then drive between 20-30mph for 4 minutes without slowing past 20, or braking. (parking lot)
This is the hard part 40-60mph for 15 minutes without slowing past 40, or braking AT ALL!!!! I usually just get to the right on 85N and set cruise to 59 and piss every mother fucker off on the way up to Chateau Elan.
Then after all that, come to a stop and let the car idle down for 5 minutes. That is BMWs obd readiness drive protocol, and I know it all to well. Cause I almost do it on a daily basis.

OK... so... one of the four flashing icons went away after the drive.
Three still flash, meaning whatever test they need to pass either hasn't completed... or is failing until it passes. My scanner still has a yellow light on the emissions tree.

Drive Cycle
The following diagram shows how a drive cycle is set (test drive) in order for all the systems
to be monitored once. The test conditions can be created in any desired order after startup.
Example of a Drive Cycle for Completing all OBD II Relevant Checks
1. Engine cold start, idling, approximately 3 minutes. Evaluated:
(Secondary Air System, and Evaporative leak detection)
2. Constant driving at 20 to 30 MPH, approximately 4 minutes. Evaluated:
(oxygen sensors- acheived "close loop" operartion
Oxygen Sensors- Response time and switching time control frequencey)
3. Constant driving at 40 to 60 MPH, approximately 15 minutes (sufficient vehicle coast

(Catalytic Converter Efficiency, Oxygen Sensors- response time and switching time(control frequency)
4. Engine idling, approximately 5 minutes. Evaluated:
(Tank Leak Diagnosis ( DM TL Equipped Vehicles after KL 15 is switched off)

• Evaporative Leak Detection (LDP Equipped Vehicles)
• Oxygen Sensors - Achieved “Closed Loop†Operation

• Catalytic Converter Efficiency
• Oxygen Sensors - Response Time and Switching Time (Control Frequency)

I'm thinking the ECU isn't liking the trickster approach with the sims? I dunno. I feel like I did everything right last night. I even re-did the 20-30 test again because I thought I may have overshot 30mph.Quiet Chris wrote:13
