Explain to me why not every 30+ MPG car has a built in metal pan under it, and slammed to the ground, then? HMMM? HMMM?

But if you want to have a 1,000MPG+ vehicle, you mean to tell me we should have a car that is slammed on 13 inch wheels, no taller than a miata, weighs less than a feather, and has a solid piece of sheet metal underneath to increase aerodynamics?

it's my after school project. i'm going to find a honda civic and make it light as possible and flat bottom it and roll around on small steel wheels with salt discs on the front and completely cover the rear wheels.
