LOL.. i just decided to bake them between coats to help it set. 180* door cracked open, about 20 minutes.. the time it took me to prep the next wheel and paint it.eVox wrote:can someone give a little more information about baking wheels in the oven?
Really I did spend more time painting the rims than the car.
What'll REALLY kill you is that on a hot day when I did the clear coat I painted them, baked them.. cooled them outside and then PUT THEM IN THE FREEZER.. about 1/2 hr each. Helped cure the whole thing. Then they sat in the den for a week until I found tires for them and really cured.
i think i have this problem.. no wonder i never get anything done

I was bored today........



this provided 30 minutes of entertainment, then i was over it. I sanded and masked, and used wax/grease remover on the FOERST one, then got lazy on the second one, used more white on the second one and had better results....hey they look better than boring stock SE wheels, but failure enough they are still ugly SE wheels. ultra highlihter pink + satin primer white + satin clear coat
