I've been doing a little poking around, and I'm coming to the conclusion is that my FOERST bike should probably be something a bit more modern. Or at least something with disc brakes.
Been seeing people do rad stuff with those Kawasaski Ninja 250s. Cafe/street fighter-ing them up! Kinda interested.
Examples:

Dang, those are sweet. I've always been a big fan of Ninja 250's, they would be a good choice.
And yea, having something new would be really nice in a lot of ways. I still love the vintage stuff and might end up with something older (almost did last night, lol), but I would like to have some modern features (working lights, signals, brakes, etc). while I'm learning. I guess I'll see what happens though, I still have a possible lead lined up for a 76' KZ400 that might go through, I'll just sorta play it by ear.
