FWD?? I thought Alex's ideas were to get the whole thing back into the origins of what Drifting started off as? I didn't think D1 allows people to run unless they were FR or MR?? Correct me if I"m wrong but going with FF doesn't seem to be keeping it real...

As far as the FWD thing goes I don't mind. It'd be its own class and they'd have to prove they could do it at the qualifiers just like any other driver. Its not like there gonna let in a bunch of highschool kids in Civics in just cause they have a FWD class.

Andy your screwed again exhaust must exit behind the rear wheels / OEM location. Hopefully they'll let you slide. Slide get it?

Yeah, I got a copy of it today from FD. I should have a full exhaust on the car... exiting from the rear before D1... so it's all good.

The qualifiers are what I'm worried about at this point. I really really want to see a schedule for those.

yea...I just talked to one of the US Drift guys and there will be a East Coast Feeder; hopefully in the south.

I think you missed my point. I'm not worried about kids in civics. If you have a three day event and the FF class gets just 20% of the track time that's 20% missing for the RWD class. Plus few people want to see FF sliding(not really drifting in my opinion). I watched the Falken civic at GT Live and it was pretty damn boring. I just think it will do more harm to the sport than good.

track time aside, AWD makes more sense than FWD.

so am i reading this right? in order to run FD at all you have to go to the qualifiers out in california or you can't run any FD events?
