Re: matts doing things
I have been seeing E85 at more stations and it's a lot cheaper, but it would suck to be at a track and run out and no station around to have any. Isn't it bad to leave sitting in your lines too?

I'm still waiting to hear what my tuner recommends. My car has weird spark plugs.matts13 wrote:so as it is getting closer to time to put fuel in my car, the question is e85 or 110 leaded.

Re: matts doing things
I've heard that some of the draggers buy a barrel of E85 just in case there isn't a station nearby. I've also heard about some different gaskets/O-rings needing to be changed for e85 as well since you would be running the greater amount of Alcohol vs Gas.
It's just a couple things I've heard here and there though.

he is all for e85 cars.
Re: matts doing things
YUP. Matt and I talked about it last night. I think this would be more of a 2012 thing for me since I've already had the car tuned twice on 110.matts13 wrote:DJones wrote:I'm still waiting to hear what my tuner recommends. Let me know how E85 goes if you take that route, I'd like to keep it as an option for the SC. I'd also like to do some sort of article on it (discussing the set up/tuning/benefits/downsides) in S3 one day too if any of you guys have lots of knowledge on it.

i think your best bet for that would be talking to doug and intervieiwing him about it.
