after my crash i started looking for a new S14 shell. i´ve got offers from all over europe starting from about 800US$ up to 3300US$ for a bare shell.

and then i´ve received an email of an older guy saying that he heard about me looking for a shell and he might has one. His mother (even older) owns a farm and there is an old barn with a car in it. He told me its one of the older S14 models in good condition, no rust because it has only done 30k miles and its sitting there for 8 years now. then he told me that the colour is this fancy dark red metallic - YESSSSS

yesterday i did a 21 hour road trip to northern germany, where i had to move a lot of wood, stones and other stuff to get into the barn, and here is my new car. I should enter a show&shine competition with all the dirt on it

that car looks really clean...I mean...straight. what was wrong with it that they stripped/parked it? cant wait to see it com together.

Looks good! SE with black face gauges, did all euro cars come like that? And you could sell the German headlights for a pretty penny if youre thinking of changing them up anyway.

the owner had a motorcycle accident and can´r walk / drive for a while. he thought he will never ever drive a car, and some crazy guys from the netherlands offered him hell a lot of money for the engine - so he sold it. I dont know why he took out the doors and the boot lid, he just layed it next to the car, and i put it back in

All euro cars came with these black faced gauges. did the us cars have white gauges?

the only option on the S14 over here was the colour, A/T or M/T and i think leather - oh and a car alarm was an option. But they all came with this speedo and the SR20

Yeah US cars have white faced gauges in SE S14's and black faced in non-SE. Non-SE's also had 4-lug hubs and different interior colors (the hideous green and blue you see sometimes). I believe all SE models had black interior.

i think most of the S14´s over here had these crazy grey with purple and green interior. But we never had 4 stud s14´s they all came with 5-stud and the 4-piston brake calippers in the front.
